Tamer S. Saleh trabaja actualmente en el Departamento de Química de la Universidad de Jeddah. Investiga en química verde, sonoquímica y química orgánica. Intenta aplicar la mayoría de los principios de la química verde en la síntesis orgánica. Su trabajo permanente es el de profesor de Química Orgánica en el Departamento de Química Verde del Centro Nacional de Investigación de Egipto.
