This real time data can then be used by the controller (human) to move around. The mobile robot would have two mode of operation autonomous and manual. Manually it will be controlled with the help of a web page. The mobile robot will have a camera mount on it for video surveillance, microphone for audio surveillance and various sensor such as Ultrasonic sensor for obstacle avoidance. User will be able to control robot using internet, thus providing the user wireless control of the robot. Video feeds and information regarding the presence of living body would be given to the user on a web page. The camera mounted on the robot will be able to move horizontally along its horizontal axis and vertically along its vertical axis. Camera movement as well as robotic movements is controlled through webpage at the user end, thus providing user with enhanced view of the surroundings. The overall robotic surveillance system would be compact and of low cost.
