The inventory is one of the priorities for any work on cultural heritage. It is the condition for its knowledge, its preservation and its valorisation. Inventory activities adopt different approaches according to the specific characteristics of each field of investigation, its own constraints and the objectives sought. The Mediterranean countries are today more and more confronted with the demands of development and land use planning likely to generate immediate risks.
