Autorenporträt
Ira D. Gruber is Professor Emeritus of History at Rice University. He previously taught at Duke University and Occidental College and has written books on the American Revolution, including John Peebles' American War for Stackpole Books. Gruber has served on the Board of Trustees for the Society of Military History, the Department of the Army Historical Advisory Committee, and the National Park Service Advisory Board on the Revolutionary War. He received the Samuel Eliot Morrison Prize from the Society for Military History. Gruber lives in Bellaire, Texas.
