Is a just society possible? Firstly, we need to look at the community foundations of this society. The search for justice has always instigated human beings. From classical times to the present day, the main divergences between different human groups have stemmed from discussions about what is just, what is good and what is necessary. In this way, this short study seeks to situate some historical-philosophical positions on justice, without neglecting the anthropological reality of various social groups. It is important to emphasise that the historical path of the concept of justice will meet with the thought of an American philosopher called Michael Sandel, who will guide the conclusion of this text.
