Autorenporträt
Scott Overcarsh began working at the 5th Chick-fil-A location in Charlotte, N.C. while in high school at age 16. Upon graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill he joined the Chick-fil-A Support Center and spent the next 4 decades learning from Truett Cathy a 'new and better way' of doing business. Chick-fil-A has become one of the largest family owned Restaurant chains in America built on principles Truett put into practice in his business model and the business practices he led by. Scott has captured many of the keys that have created a company culture where success and happiness thrive. Scott is married to his college sweetheart, Jody, and they have three grown children who serve their communities through medicine, speech therapy and purpose based writing. Scott retired from Chick-fil-A in the Spring of 2018 and resides in Decatur, Georgia.
