Information Security Awareness (ISA) program is a critical component in any organisations strategy. This study examined information security awareness among employees of Capital Market Registrars (CMRs) in Lagos, Nigeria. The study utilised a survey design. A field survey of 272 employees was carried out, using questionnaire and interview schedule for data collection. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents for the study. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. Findings revealed that majority of CMRs in Lagos had information security policies and security awareness programs in place. A greater number of employees of CMRs in Lagos believed that information is an organisational asset, resource, and commodity that should be managed like other resources. Passwords were mostly used to protect valuable information. Findings also showed that most employees of CMRs in Lagos complied with IS policies while performing daily activities.
