Maya Gupta is a high school student in North Carolina. She has a passion for STEM, public health, dentistry, and working with children. Through her work at a pediatric dental office, she has had the opportunity to learn the vital importance of oral hygiene-not only to prevent tooth decay-but also in the role of good overall health. Maya's love for children inspired her to write her new book, Isabella's Adventures in Tooth Fairy Land: Las aventuras de Isabella en el país del Hada de los Dientes, to help establish healthy dental habits for kids at an early age.
