Nautica is a multi-faceted teenage girl that is sent to live with her dad after she gets in a fight at school. Her dad is forced to make a decision to fight for his daughter and her future or to let her continue down a dark path with the friends she meets in the ghetto neighborhood she grew up in. The decision isn't as obvious as you would think especially with her pushing him away. You ever met someone that was kind, loving, disciplined, protective and genius that was also unforgiving, cut-throat, and a tad bit manipulative? Maybe characterizing people in black and white doesn't work. If only you knew the background story of that thief that stole your identity or the scammer that set you up.
