lsay Weinfeld is the Head Architect of a studio that takes his name and is based in São Paulo, Brazil since its foundation, in 1973. Graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 1975, he has run a multidisciplinary practice focused on projects in the most diverse areas - office, civic, commercial, residential, hospitality, etc - always providing full architecture and interior design services. Among countless projects developed over the years, some of the highlights are the hotels designed for Grupo Fasano in Sao Paulo, Punta del Este and Porto Feliz, La Petite Afrique Building in Monaco, Jardim Building and Le Pavillon Restaurant for Daniel Boulud in NYC, in addition to the feature film Fogo e Paixao and a line of office furniture designed for Geiger/Herman Miller. Many are also the awards received over a career spanning more than 45 years, such as the MIPIM AR Future Project Awards organized by British magazine Architectural Review (for 360o Building in 2009, and for Oka Building in 2012). Featured in numerous titles in Brazil and abroad, publications on his work include monograph volumes written by journalists Daniel Piza (2006), Raul Barreneche (2008 and 2012) and Shonquis Moreno (2018).
