I wanted a protagonist that had been summoned several times and had significant skills, but wasn't overpowered with cheat codes and unique abilities. His biggest problems should be things that you can't poke with a sword or wish away with magic. And no harems. Seriously, enough with the harems already! The result is Isekai Veteran: Outlander.
