This book discusses the roles of international organisations in managing crises caused by ISIS/ISIL in Iraq. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria/the Levant (ISIS) has become a clear and present threat to the human and national security of Iraq and Syria as well as the regional and international security of Iraq. It is an extremist militant Islamic group that strictly follows the Wahhabism and Salaft-jihadi notions in addition to the perspectives and thoughts of Kharijites. The study found it is puzzling that, although Neoliberal Institutionalism tradition suggests that international organisations should help to solve Iraqi issues, the results of involvement of some international organisations in Iraq - UN, NATO and the Arab League - are limited. Using neoliberal institutionalism theories, the study argues that international organisations should act as the main supporter to manage the strategies to fight ISIS and alleviate the crises caused by the terrorist organisation.
