Dr. Khairudin Aljunied is Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and Senior Fellow at the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University. Dr. Aljunied is the author and editor of several books, including Muslim Cosmopolitanism: Southeast Asian Islam in Comparative Perspective (2017) and Hamka and Islam: Cosmopolitan Reform in the Malay World (2018). A specialist on the history of Islam in Southeast Asia, his research covers topics such as religious cosmopolitanism, social movements and intellectual history.
