Many studies introducing the heroism of invaders and conquerors in the Islamic history, and introducing armies, leaders and battles fought by Muslims against other nations have been published. However, enough research efforts have not been exerted to explain the diplomatic role played by Muslim leaders to stop wars, and the huge results reached by diplomacy in terms of establishing peace and spreading Islam. This actually reinforces the fact that war is a temporary emergency state one can resort to in order to defend goodness. It can't be a violent goal or means used to spread goodness. This study has been carried out to reinforce the culture of peaceful diplomacy and reiterate on its role in building successful and prosperous international relations in Islamic Civilization.
