O Dr. Issa Muhammad-Jamiu frequentou a Universidade de Ilorin de 2006-2011 onde obteve o B.A. (Ed.) e um mestrado em Educação em Estudos Islâmicos. Obteve o grau de Doutor (2014-2019) em Educação em Estudos Religiosos pela Universidade de Ilorin. Foi professor no Departamento de Educação Artística, Universidade Príncipe Abubakar Audu.
