Niclas Nilsson, (Zurich, Switzerland) is the Founder & CEO of Capnovum, a pioneer in horizon scanning, impact assessments and regulatory change management consistently recognised as one of the world's most innovative RegTech companies. He is a passionate entrepreneur with over 20 years' experience in financial services. A frequent speaker, panellist and lecturer on ESG, artificial intelligence (AI), innovation, regulatory compliance, conventional and Islamic RegTech, FinTech and InsurTech, Niclas co-authored the chapter on Islamic RegTech for The REGTECH Book (Wiley, 2019), and advises boards of financial institutions on strategy, governance, data, technology and change. Sadeq J. Abul, (Kuwait City, Kuwait) comes from a distinguished background in Financial Services, having held prominent positions as the General Manager, Board Affairs (Board Secretary, Economic Research, Disclosure Unit, and Compliance Section), at Kuwait International Bank (KIB), and represented KIB as the Vice Chair for Kuwait Financial Group and Ritaj Takaful Insurance Company; Assistant Manager, and Board Secretary at Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK); and as Secretary of government committees such as the Economic Reform Committee and the Activating Local Economic Committee. Dr. Abul holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Durham, England.
