Critical Appraisal and Conclusion In this research, we discuss the concept of reason and revelation in Islam and the place that both reason and revelation occupy in Islamic philosophy. It focuses on explaining the role and significance of reason and revelation in the Islamic philosophy. Islamic philosophy is the systematic investigation of problems convicted with life, the universe, ethics, society and so or as conducted in the Muslim world. The main sources of Islamic philosophy are the religion of Islam itself especially ideas derived and interpreted from the Quran and Greek philosophy which the early Muslim inherited as a result of conquests, along with pre- Islamic Indian philosophy and Persian philosophy.
