Local author and islander Stephanie Erickson shares the history of the islands and how they have shaped the culture of the islanders today.

Stephanie Erickson is a former geologist turned high school science educator. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Education in digital technology integration from Southern New Hampshire University. She currently lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband, Tim. Stephanie is an avid researcher, sailor and self-professed science geek. Stephanie, her husband and their black Lab love visiting national parks and enjoy their island camp Labrador Retreat on Sleepers Island in Lake Winnipesaukee.
