Leigh Barrett is from South Africa and lived in Oregon for 18 years before returning home to write. "I spent much of my life in the world of journalism, writing about food insecurity and genocide and other humanitarian or newsy topics. An evening at a local writing group encouraged me to try switching to fiction, and what a fun ride it is!"Currently settled on top of an ancient mountain and between two beautiful coastlines, Leigh is committed to writing the kind of relatable stories that will have you cheering for the feisty, intelligent, vulnerable women who inhabit them.
