Produktbeschreibung
This book is based on research conducted by the author on the Government of Kenya Supply Chain Departments within Ministries in a bid to establish the extent to which their adoption of the ISO 9001:2008 Standard in a bid to provide quality services to the public has influenced the Supply Chain processes in relation to Management responsibilities, Resource Management processes, Product Realization processes, Measurement, Analysis & Improvement processes and Government regulations. It interrogates the infusion of these global standards of quality within public service delivery in a bid to ascertain whether there is significant improvement in service provision due to this initiative. Using inferential statistics in analyzing data collected from Supply chain Departments of Government of Kenya Ministries, the author is able to crystallize this relationship through the research findings. These findings are interesting and a worthy read for the Quality Standards developers and Policy makers in governments keen to improve service delivery through adoption of the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
