I had a storm of a time on Isolation Island, the cool debut thriller from Louise Minchin. A windswept landscape, a graveyard, an old monastery and a gaggle of minor celebrities competing for a reality TV prize... except one is Hollywood A-lister Nate Stirling and everyone has secrets to keep and lies to tell. This is a beautifully accomplished debut with vivid characters, surprising twists and an insider's beady eye on the TV industry. Slick, stylish and thoroughly enjoyable. Janice Hallett
