L-Asparaginase This book contain all the information regarding our work on the enzyme L-Asparaginase right from its Isolation from bacteria and a plant species, its Purification, Characterization and finally its Application in different fields. This was our project for M.Sc.Biotechnology in college. When we were searching for a genuine topic to research on, we found this interesting enzyme which has very much important in our day to day life right from curing blood cancer to reducing the potential carcinogen acrylamide content in bakery food products to an antioxidant. It was very challenging to work with this type of enzyme. Me and my project partner learnt many new things while working on this. We also discovered a novel species producing this enzyme in bulk quantity with good specific enzyme activity and the work on it is in process which will be completed soon and ready for publication.
