Autorenporträt
Anthea McLean was eight years old when she won her first writing competition, and it spurred her lifelong love of writing and creating art. Since then, she has won many provincial writing contests; she was also very active in writing reports and articles for the Vernon, B.C. newspaper and CJIB radio station. Stories of Silverado Ranch is her first book, written in memory of her late husband, Roy McLean. It began as a set of stories for the Westwood senior residence's magazine, which became so well-received by the residents that she continued to write about her and her husband's journey to establish their personal Eden. She currently resides in West Kelowna, B.C.
