Solid waste Pollution is perhaps the most primitive form of pollution that mankind can create on a nascent peice of land. It alone can create water pollution by leachate action and air pollution if burbed, but the irony is soild waste does not enjoy the same importance as its couter parts air and water pollution. The present book provides an insight into the level of generation and current practices in disposal and managment of soild waste generated in an indian urban center, Varanasi, and also proposes hiolistic techniques for proper and scintific management.
