Chapter two contains bullying in schools, it effects on learners, and implications for counselling. Chapter three contains the effect of truancy on students' academic performances. Chapter four contains domestic violence against women which could have negative effects on school children, and could probably affect their future. Chapter five contains the impact of single parenting on the cognitive,social and emotional development of school children.

Autor

Dr Dorcas Oluremi FAREO is a seasoned teacher,who had taught in secondary schools for over 20 years.She is currently a lecturer at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. She holds B.Ed in Guidance & Counselling (1997) from University of Nigeria,Nsukka; M.A(Ed)(2003) & Ph.D (2010)in Guidance & Counselling from Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife,Nigeria
