Since then the Movement has been discussed, praised and criticized widely. In this book an attempt has been made to find out the lesser spoken aspects of the Movement. The book tries to look at the root cause of the Movement, which is migration. The book is an attempt to asses the socio-political stand of the diverse, multi-ethnic communities of Assam and women at the time of the Movement.
