"Historical Expertise" is a professional journal of the Russian historical community in Russia and abroad. The first issue was published in 2014. Since 2015 four issues have been published annually. The editorial board and editorial council include prominent historians from Russia, Moldova, Europe and the USA. All articles are peer-reviewed. The main subject of the journal is memory studies: ¿Global memory¿, "Problems of national memory of foreign countries", "Memory of trauma", "Historical politics", "How it really was". The journal has regularly published translations of articles and interviews with leading foreign researchers in the field of memory. Much attention is paid to reviewing historical literature. Each issue contains 10-15 reviews. There are also materials devoted to the experience of outstanding historians (the rubric "Time of a Historian"), social problems of historical corporation ("Social Problems of Science" and "Problems of Self-Organisation of Science").
