Lendy Swartbooi-Thobejane a Khoisan born/ Black Activist was born and bred in the Cape Colony (Cape Town). She graduated from the University of Cape Town in Theatre and Performing Arts. Lendy is a motivational speaker and an author of the book "Boonkie in the Community", 2014. This book became one of the top 5 hits on Amazon under the African Genre - the world's biggest selling bookshop in March 2015. She is the founding member of the Lendz Reading Programme.
