Oshkosh native Randy Domer has developed a passion for local history as he publishes his fourth book on the subject. Much of his time in retirement is spent researching and writing stories on Oshkosh's historic past. He writes articles on local history and pens a weekly column for the Oshkosh Herald newspaper. He serves as president of the Winnebago County Historical & Archaeological Society and is a member of the board at the Butte des Morts Historical Preservation Society. He and his wife Karen are retired and reside in the Oshkosh area
