Marla Minix Moore is the daughter of The Pie Lady. Marla was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Dr. Micheal B. Minix and Connie Walden Minix. She went to Junior High and High School in Ashland, Kentucky and she graduated from the University of Kentucky. She and her husband Don were married and raised their two children, Ashley and Don Penn in Owensboro, Kentucky. They own their family business, Don Moore Automotive. Marla has been a homemaker and the family "glue" for forty-one years. Their entire extended family loves to cook, entertain, and bake! Cooking and baking is a Minix and Moore family tradition and an important part of every family gathering. Marla loves to entertain friends and family in her home and share meals and quality time with her two children and their families. She and Don enjoy spoiling their five grandchildren with goodies from their kitchen.
