Growing up in Maine, Heather Bruhl knew from the start that art and creativity would be her constant companions. She attended the College of Marin in Kentfield, California and received her degree in Interior Design. After returning to Maine she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Maine in 1994. She currently lives in Kennebunk, Maine with her loving husband Tim, their adorable daughter and a Newfoundland named Bodie. She writes and illustrates children's books and continues to take art classes whenever she can.
