Jimmie R. McKnight, PhD (ABD) is a native of Mound Bayou, Mississippi. He is a motivational speaker and a consultant. He is also an educator on both the collegiate and secondary level. He attended Delta State University where he earned a B.S in Social Science. He also earned a Masters of Art in Political Science from Mississippi State University. He is currently in the completion stages of his dissertation to earn a Doctoral of Philosophy in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. His goal is to see the Empowerment Program empower at-risk youth all over America.
