With humorous, revealing stories from painting adventures on location, the book has a wealth of useful technical guidance for painters in drawing, doodling, watercolour and oils. It offers a rich, lively and diverse collection of anecdotes that sheds a new light on what makes painting en plein air with a trusted friend such a lifetime of pleasure. Describing the book in his Foreword as a "unique collaboration of two highly regarded painters in both oils and watercolours", David Curtis ROI, VPRSMA says "The delight for the readers is not only the wealth of practical instructional information from these two seasoned professionals, but the inclusion of lively anecdotal text which delivers little jewels of what is seen as fun filled days out in the field ... I feel this volume will be a 'must have' read"
