Autorenporträt
Vanessa was raised in the city of Brisbane, Australia. Although she didn't grow up in India, her parents still celebrated the various Indian cultural festivals. As a result, her family were able to instil Hindu culture in her and keep her Gujarati Indian heritage alive. Her favourite childhood memory of Diwali was being able to light up and play with sparklers in her front yard. As a child she would always be found drawing and designing, and that passion still burns strong inside. She wanted to create something to connect and pass on knowledge to her son and his generation so they too can experience the culture, no matter where they live and create their own beautiful memories.Follow @itsthattimeofyear_series on Instagram to learn more and experience the FUN-nomenon!
