In addition, Lane, a Child Development Specialist with a Master's Degree in Social Work, combines years of experience with her work as a Child & Family Therapist, Juvenile Probation Officer and Social Worker to create stories that encourage readers to use problem-solving strategies and ways to develop higher self-esteem, much like the characters in the books she shares.
