The filmmaker, photographer and graphic designer Iván Zulueta (1940-2009) trained as a filmmaker at the Official School of Cinematography in Franco's Spain between 1964 and 1970. In those years, with his filmic practices he composed a cycle of works characterized by a common theme: female protagonists whose particular psychology is the core of each audiovisual proposal. The unusual nature of this content, both in the context of his time and in the context of the rest of Zulueta's work, makes this lesser known stage of his career of special interest, which expands and enriches the director's creative world.
