Children's author Carrie A. Buck had a book idea percolating for twenty years waiting to be told, but it wasn't until she became inspired by her granddaughter who loves dinosaurs and tea parties that she finally put pen to paper. Iv's Dinosaur Tea Party is her debut picture book, a whimsical rhyming story about a sweet young girl and her dinosaur friends who run into challenges at a tea party. With themes of kindness, perseverance and friendship, it's a perfect read-aloud for families and educators of young children.Carrie has many encouraging cheerleaders in her life who have supported her book journey including her husband of twenty-five years, her mom and her amazing circle of friends who also happen to be featured as the dinosaurs in her story. Carrie and her husband own an ice cream shop in Arizona where they live. When she isn't writing delightfully imaginative stories for children, she loves devouring books, shopping, spending time with her family and friends and managing their hoard of pets including five dogs and one cat.
