In the constellation of the Northern Galactic Orb. During the time of the twelve kings in the old world of the seventh dynasty recorded as the Golden Dawn, the children of the flesh born inhabited the Southern Lands of Zia. In the days of the Great Wars between the light and the darkness, in an age older than where our story begins, the most powerful and learned minds of intellectual vanity yearned to answer the riddle that would reveal all mysteries. It was an uprising of the human thought. In their search, they permitted vanity to seize them, arousing the burning fire of ambition within. The self-appointed elite believed there was a better way to rule the world of Zia- their way. In their misdirected inclinations, they intermingled revolutionary thoughts for too long, and unseen demoniacal spirit beings lured them in through their arrogance and lust for power. They became futile in their erroneous reasoning, and they allowed their vain minds to darken. Befouled minds violated more and more sacred doctrines, diametrically contrary to the laws of truth. The self-professed illuminated ones desecrated fixed realities for conjectures, believing themselves to be more all-knowing than the omnipotent mind that created them. In their quest to be wise, they became fools trying to make the most profound questions fit their presumptuous answers and demanding it to be so. As time passes, by and by, the Ancient Wars have been all but forgotten; and peace and prosperity reigned paramount over the land-that is, until our villain, Baddlock-through spite, envy, and resentment over some imagined injustice-sought an alliance with the Dark Priests of Phantomsdeep, an ancient fortress in the midst of the Noragore Rim, where the Book of Forbidden Knowing fell into his hands. His thinking becomes perverted in all thought; and outlawed incantations not heard out loud in a thousand years filled the forgotten temples beyond the Wastelands of Woe. Soon Baddlock, now known as the Wicked Warlock Wizard, ensnared Dandork, the king's most trusted subject and friend, into disloyalty by reason of greed and promises of power. Then both tyrants, by means of spellbinding treachery, employed a handful of nobles like rotten apples in a barrel, to provoke ideas of resentment and feelings of betrayal, revolution, and, finally, open rebellion. Ultimately, by way of a series of brutal massacres blamed on the king, Baddlock and Dandork managed to shackle the vicious bitterness of the barbaric Norticlan tribes of the Noragore Realm. Darkon, ruler of the Norticlan, has joined forces with Baddlock to depose King Ozzdon, seize the throne, and thus the Empire of Xenia. At present the Kingdom of Edawn is caught in the vortex of a crisis rapidly gathering force. Princess Zuree has been abducted, tying the king's hands. Our hero, Izz, having come to Edawn for one reason-stayed for another-now hopelessly in love with Princess Zuree. Izz secretly sets off on an impossible one-man mission to rescue his beloved, and here is where our story continues to unfold…
