Marilyn Rosetta Weekes was born on the Island of St. Kitts where she remained for the next four years before joining her mom on St. Croix, Virgin Islands where she grew up and attended school. After which, she became a mother of five and and a grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren. So writing for children came easy for for her.
