Nieber is soulmate to Richard, mom to Jacob, Emmie and Maia, an author of picture book Gingko Finds Her Forever Home, writer of five middle grade novels, an avid reader since kindergarten, a dirty-hands gardener since a 4H exhibit of her best tomatoes in fourth grade, and a lover of kids. Her thirty plus years' teaching and counseling middle school students provided a plethora of story material for her next career - writing.
