Alison Gooderson has worked for many years as Class Teacher and Deputy Head in the village school in Weston, Hertfordshire. The local legend of Jack O' Legs, and her third-year pupils' enthusiasm for the tale, inspired her to write her first children's book. Alison lives in Sandy, Bedfordshire with her husband and has two grown up sons. In her spare time, she loves to explore the coast of North Norfolk and the Derbyshire Dales, especially on Winter days!
