The nights are sweaty. The world is a gray area of right and wrong, soft jazz from a solo saxophone plays in the background, and Jack keeps hearing his actions narrated by the voice of a 1940s gumshoe. After facing evil holiday symbols, and encountering legendary beasts, the young detective is focused on a new goal, but detective's training won't be easy. He will learn to trust no one… not even his own reflection. The challenge of the Four Seasons has concluded, but Teddy's last words still haunt Jack's thoughts. Uncertain whether or not he's sleepwalking, he struggles with a darkness brewing within him. He finds himself making questionable decisions on his investigation to find his father. With Jack fresh from one journey, Sonny's new angelic abilities scarcely understood, and Rocho damaged from the challenge, the group must find a way through unfamiliar locations in the afterlife. Traveling to Oracle Island hidden deep in the Bermuda Triangle will be Jack's most difficult journey, but escaping might be impossible. In the fourth installment of The Jack Taylor Cases, our young detective will bargain his way through the afterlife. In the end, readers will be desperate to reach for the fifth and final book yet to come, as the young detective ultimately discovers who is responsible for his father's death.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.

Autorenporträt
Christian N. Wynn was born in Travis Air Force Base, California, and his father's military service took the family all over the United States. As an adult (sort of), he moved from Delaware to Maryland after being cursed. Cursed to write mysteries blended with holiday magic. He has four cats he didn't ask for but loves, a wife he loves but doesn't deserve, and a book series that deserves a read from anyone who is nostalgic for Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, and quirky holidays. The personal experiences of his friends and family are often his most important inspiration for the characters and stories he creates, including the middle-grade fiction series 'The Jack Taylor Cases.' This series has been described as The Hardy Boys Mysteries meets The Nightmare Before Christmas. Along with the Jack Taylor Cases, Mr. Wynn's future writing plans include a series about summer vacations in a strange town, a trilogy of children's books featuring warrior teddy bears, and other books starring dreamers in 'Jack Taylor Cases.'When he isn't writing, Christian enjoys slipping obscure movie lines into conversations, collecting refrigerator magnets from his travels, and reading written works by Rick Riordan, Suzanne Collins, and Daniel Handler. He's also a Hufflepuff and a Los Angeles Chargers fan.You can find more about Christian Wynn and the Jack Taylor Cases at www.jacktaylorcases.com.
