Kids giggle at this cute rhyming story based on the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas." On the seventh day of Christmas, Jack the Cat "marches with the elves." On the eighth day, he "helps to stock the shelves" of the local cat shelter. Jack decorates the palm tree, "snow" skis down sand dunes, and gets trapped in a gingerbread house. As Jack's young fan Corey says: "Jack does crazy things at Christmas!" Other RhymeTime storybooks include "Jack the Cat on Chicory Ridge" and "Jack the Cat in Florida," as well as "Willie: I Know You Are My Friend" and "Willie: Does it matter?".

Autorenporträt
Debora Emmert (Nonna Debora to her half-Italian grandchildren) grew up on a farm with cats and a dog, a pony and horse, sheep, cows, and pigs. She loved the dog and tolerated the cats. (She thought they were sneaky.) But then she met Jack. She thinks he's the coolest cat ever, and sees him every chance she gets. His entertaining adventures inspired her to collaborate with her friend Joan to create this series of storybooks about Jack's daily life and escapades. Nonna Debora developed RhymeTime storybooks for all young children who think rhymes are fun! Her rhyming tales about the escapades of Jack the Cat include: Jack the Cat: Christmas in Florida, Jack the Cat in Florida, and Jack the Cat on Chicory Ridge. Nonna Debora also enjoys creating stories based on the wisdom she learned from her mother and father, and from reading Aesop's Fables during visits to her grandparents' farm. Her "Willie" books are inspired by the life lessons she learned as a child. Debora's other rhyming tales include Willie: Does it matter?, and Willie: I know you are my friend. Debora holds a BA in English from Quincy University, and a Masters of Education from the University of Wisconsin.
