Trevor Newland is a Vancouver-based author/illustrator of fantasy and speculative fiction. Inspired by the Golden Age of pulp sci-fi, M. John Harrison, Ted Chiang and Alan Moore among others, Newland digests and reshapes the arcane. And with artwork often compared to that of illustrators like Shaun Tan, his books push readers into fictional worlds always off kilter, askew and full of wonder that comes at a price.
