Life is full of ups and downs especially if you are a puppy in need of a name and in search of a home. Although it can sometimes be a scary world, Jack learns the importance of caring, sharing and friendship. With lots of love and the help of new fiends Jack discovers that even a puppy has strengths and talents and being himself is the best thing in the world. Often the world has questions and situations that can be unsettling and even frightening. Who am I? Who are my friends? Why do bad things happen to good people? These are questions children sometimes have and are often the most difficult to answer. "Jack with the Curly Tail" addresses these questions and more in a thoughtful, caring way designed to foster communication and understanding. The story of "Jack with the Curly Tail" was born in response to the repeated request to "tell me a story" and an answer to the question "why."
