Max has lived in a diverse range of environments that shaped his view of the world and of humanity, along with a sense for value, integrity and responsibility. He lived and worked in the stable and traditional city of Munich for over ten years, and two years in Sierra Leone, at the brink of civil war. He experienced the crazy 80's in New York City, and enjoyed the easy-going west coast Way-of-Life in California, from Beverly Hills to Santa Barbara, to San Luis Obispo.Max is an avid writer of journals and essays since childhood. He earned a B.A. in Humanities and Creative Writing at NYU and later added an M.A. in Archaeology to his education. He worked at the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps, and now lives and works in the beautiful town of Setubal, enjoying the people, the food and the vibrant Alentejan culture on the Atlantic coast of central Portugal.
