Autorenporträt
Cris Avery is a Jamaican-American, Writer, Activist and so much more it wouldn't fit. His day job is helping marginalized communities access medically necessary care. He currently resides in Bronx, NY, USA. He has appeared in several off-Broadway shows, movies and documentaries. He's performed on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre, also singing with the cast of Rent. Avery's published several articles, poems, and stories under a variety of pen names. Recently, Avery resumed piano lessons to start playing for others some of the many songs he's composed with smoother transitions. If you try really hard you can still find him playing the piano when he thinks no one is listening or watching. If you ever want to see him dance his butt off, play, "The Wobble."
