Sophie Grace is a graduate from Grambling State University who has served her community as a social worker and now an elementary school teacher. As a descendant of the Gullah Geechee people from the Low Country in South Carolina, she draws her themes from her community's rich heritage, language, beliefs, and family values. She currently resides in Dallas, TX with her husband Kevin, son Jeremiah and fur baby Kingston. Jamere Dreams is her first published book and will be followed by many more.
