Jamie Thomas Proctor (born 25 March 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Preston North End. Born in Ingol, Preston, lifelong Preston North End fan Proctor came through the youth academy at Preston North End. Proctor is a pacy and powerful young forward who has shown promise at youth, reserve and first team level. A return of 15 goals in 28 appearances in his first youth team season of 2008/09 was an excellent start to scholarship life. On 27 January 2010, Proctor was handed a 2 and a half year professional contract. He made his professional debut on 2 May 2010, coming on as a substitute against Reading in the 4 1 defeat at the Madejski Stadium. On 13 August 2010, he joined Stockport County on a 28 day loan.[6] He made seven appearances for the club before returning to Preston.
