Jammal Filbert Brown (born March 30, 1981 in Waxahachie, Texas, U.S.) is an American football left tackle for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. As a senior, he won All-State honors as a defensive lineman. Jammal Brown graduated from MacArthur High School in 2000. Jammal Brown was recruited by the Oklahoma Sooners as a defensive tackle. He was switched to offensive tackle in his sophomore year, and quickly blossomed, securing a starting spot as a sophomore, and winning the Outland Trophy as a senior in 2004 as the nation's most outstanding lineman. He was the anchor of an offensive line that paved the way for Adrian Peterson to set the record for most rushing yardage by a freshman in 2004.
